Swoop
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=252657566 Looking at this pretty Les Paul Standard, I asked the guy for the serial number, but it apparently doesn't have one? I know some of the older Epiphones had the number on a sticker, which could have come off, but given the condition, I don't think it's that old, maybe late 90s, early '00s? And if I remember rightly, the older Epi's with the stickered serial didn't have the Les Paul signature on the headstock either, true? It was bought from a reputable, authorised Epi dealer, and the guy even has the receipts apparently. And it sure looks like a legit guitar to me. Given that it was bought from that store, I don't believe it'd be a second, with the serial number removed. Are there any other reasons why an Epi might not have a serial number? Bender 4 Life
The "small nick" on the headstock might have been enough to get the # pulled and sold as a B/2nd.......although it should be marked as such if thats the case. if not, then it's probably that somebody pulled the sticker off.
