VJ to EL34 build

I'm starting on one of these, but the threads I read seem to indicate some arugment

concerning layouts and parts values.

 

I've got this as a start..

lot of 6V6 stuff there.. but nothing clear so far about a final EL34

 

I want to get a parts order in since I need a few things and may as well add what's different for this build onto that.

 

Gotta get a tube, too.

EL34 versus 6V6? I think all we're talking about is swapping the bias resistor. 250r/5w should work just peachy for an el34. I've tried 220r, but the PT was kinda warm. Basically, it might need a fan or a flipped cab to get the heat off the tube.
