me wantssssssssssssssssss

Class AB/Pentode: 100W of flesh searing power -perfect for steaks

Class AB/Triode: 50W, tighter headroom, crisper gain, still hurts- get me some bandaids

Class A/Pentode: 60W, lots of headroom before overdrive, nice and plucky -ok

Class A/Triode: 30W, less headroom, more responsive to your attack - watch when they flank the left side

Who really needs 100 watt ???

Peter

see now your just not being creative, why do people have 4x4 cars, just incase they need it to get through some mud or up a hill, why do you have a 100 watt amp, just incase I wana blow some ones face off and shut that stupid drummer up!

I have a little giant too, but I like the options on this I mean, theres a 100 watter 60watter, and even a 30watter all in one comon guys, little amps are cool, but all they wana be is like there bigger brothers

...just incase I wana blow some ones face off...

Totally off-topic, but that line reminded me of a funny blog piece about the "hermeneutical possibilities" in the Bon Jovi line "I've seen a million faces, and I've rocked them all". It's got graphs, and the comments are as funny as the article itself.

In terms of actual volume this would be twice as loud as a 10 watt amp. Mighty loud and way too loud for most venues.

In terms of a potent lead head, you'd be infinitely farther ahead finding an old fender bassman or or a traynor yba1 and restoring it. If you're a careful shopper, you should be able to find either and have it fully brought to factory specs for around what you'd pay for this 100w poser. My 2 cents.

Silverface bassman amps sometimes go as low as $200 in good condition... And they can be "blackfaced" for better tone...
