The new "inspired by" line...same factory but better components?

I kinda stole the title for this one and the idea, sorry :D

anyways in the other thread people were discussing wether the new inspired by Casinos were any better quality-wise than the 'regular' Epis and which factory they're made in...

What I'd like to know is how the Texan plays a role in the whole inspired by cake?

Which factory? Same as the Masterbilts (--->better wood to chose from?)?

How does the quality, fit and finish compare to the regular ones?

Since Epiphone put both the Inpired By's and the wilshires in their own little category 'historic' I'm guessing their goal is to make the best guitars they can for the price...? And since the names that their using 'John Lennon' and '1964--->Macca' they can't be that bad right? [confused]

A bit of wishful thinking there I think. I really hope all of that is the case because I really want one of the Texans when they 'finally' hit the shops. I'm gonna trade my Tanglewood TW-55 for one but only if the build quality is at least as good. The Tanglewood is superbly built, specs are very similar so it has to be build quality that swings it for me. I love the look of the Texan so I'm desperate for them to be really impressive. Here's hoping........

All the best, Matt
