brianh
OK, the guy has a few things wrong (not a Deluxe and not MIJ), but it's still a nice example if anyone's in the market: http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/msg/1493776940.html There was a Black Geni Custom in Vermont for $400 that I slip away in January and I still regret it. PS: no idea how he knows it was made in 1978, there's no way to tell AFAIK....

brianh
I thought these were MIJ. Where were they made? Details are pretty sketchy, but from what we can tell, they were all made in Taiwan. That's according to Jim Walker, the Director of Marketing for Epi in the 70s. He also designed the guitar and oversaw it's rollout. If someone has verifiable proof to the contrary, I'd love to hear it. http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Epiphone/Genesis/10/
