jonnyg
Hi I wonder if anyone here has ever bought Epiphone guitar strings. The reason I ask is that I've found a supplier who sells them for £2.99 UK a set which is about £1.00 cheaper than the Ernie Ball regular slinky's I normally buy. I can't find any info about them but the pack says "Nickel Plated Steel Wound - Made In The USA" which is pretty much what Ernie Ball packs state. Any thoughts or comments? Anyone ever bought them? 7C
If these are the same strings that come fitted to Epi's from the factory I would avoid. They are a bit lifeless. 7C
pohatu771
I saw them in a store once, and asked about them. I was told (and this seemed to be a rather high-volume Gibson dealer) that they were the same as the Gibson strings, but without being vacuum-packed. jefleppard
there's a guy on the gibson forum side, thermionix, that knows about string origins and whatnot. he'd be able to help with this. also, since most strings tend to come from a handful af manufacturers, it would be best to track them down that way. OR! try a pack. lol.
