jwfretter
Hello everyone , was wondering if anyone would know if my 1994 EJ 212 jumbo 12 string acoustic, built at the Samick plant in Korea has a laminate top and sides or a solid top and sides? I have it up for sale and a potential buyer wants to know. Thank you. James
peeper
Not familiar with that model off the top of my head. Why not look at it and see? You do have the guitar in your possession right?

el capitan
It would have an "S"in the model no. if it was solid top.
el capitan
Don't fret! Laminated tops are stronger-which is good for 12y's.Just don't overload it by using too heavy strings at too much tension.Pawn shops are full of unplayable 12-strings!10's tuned down to D WORKS FOR ME!
