Serial number 80100017. The gold hardware degraded badly over the years and I've just had it replaced with chrome, including some nice Grover pegs. A pair of Bareknuckle Stormy Mondays and a fret re-dress completed the makeover. I’ve used my E by G today. Beautiful instrument. I’ve got flat wounds on at the moment.

I’m thinking somewhere in the £500-£600 range. She’d benefit from a good set up, I haven’t done much with her since I got her (about 6 years ago). Sounds and plays great but i’m needing to free up some funds for a a Gretsch that i’ve Been hankering for since I was a kid! It must have had some paintwork done in the past as I can’t see the serial number on the back of the headstock...?

Kevin MacIver
Had been trying to date mine in advance of selling, but can't get a match on the serial number. Pretty sure now it's one of the 86-88 Korean made ones. Serial number is 80200191. David_muzyk
Not sure if people are still chatting in this thread, but I recently purchased an Epiphany by Gibson Sheraton. Can upload some more photos tomorrow night. But serial number is: 880705723. How do people find the pickups in these guitars?

HaphazardSafe
Hi, This is my 1st post on this forum, be gentle with me! Could I please be allowed to be a part of the "Epiphone by Gibson" owners club? Submitted is my headstock, no stickers on my guitar though on the back. 🙂 After doing a bit of research on my 1985 Vintage burst Epiphone by Gibson Sheraton, I think it's one of the 1st run of 50 made to show off the Samick factory skills to the Gibson bods, which of course they were horrified with and immediately made them rethink the logo on. I notice there is another similar headstock further up the thread which was actually the 2nd iteration of the design. Mine being more "handwritten" and offset in it's appearance. I'd love to know if there are any others left as it really is becoming a rare beast!

Here's some pics - I believe this logo was the second iteration, not the 1st run of 50. Please see mine for that logo. The logo was changed very slightly for the 1986 model. Mine is from 1985 when they first moved production to Samick in Korea.
Stevie t
Hi I own a epiphone by Gibson headstock guitar purchased new back in the day from Carlsboro music Birmingham. It lived in my left for many years as it suffered from heavy fret wear as it was my main gigging guitar through the 90s it was tobacco sunburst. One fateful day I decided to strip to guitar to natural the poly finish is real thick don’t do it ! Once stripped I attempted at translucent red nitro finish but wasn’t happy and stripped back using acetone this weaken the neck binding I have a good friend how is helping me out with the refund new multiply binding on neck with new fretjob binding nibs removed. Also stop bar replaced with frequensator current paint job will end up as Torino green I also have a 1964 reissue Sheraton and a chisese midnight blue
