Muskank Sally
AKG Bug is a good reliable unit. It'll run you $249.95 http://www.zzounds.com/item--AKGWMS40FLGB
Hungrycat
I alway rent wireless, cuase it's rare I play in a large enough venue to run around in. I always rent out a top of the line Shure model. Usualy costs me about $30 for a one day rental.
brianh
Can't recommend buying a wireless system right now. There's a lot of turmoil in wireless because the FCC sold the 700 MHz band off to Verizon and AT&T. That means that a lot of used stuff is actually illegal to use, see this article: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/16/technology/16wireless.html Renting is the way to go for now. If you must own a wireless guitar/bass system, the Shure PGX14 is a good one: http://www.shure.com/ProAudio/Products/WirelessMicrophones/us_pro_PGX14_content
