andrewjunior
the oldschool LP Jr bridge was offset at an angle. i kinda like the way it looks. it's just.... not uniform, and i think that's why i like it. if i tighten one of the screws on the wraparound tailpiece till i get it to the more authentic 50's Jr angle, will is screw up my guitar in any way, shape, or form? peeper
Short answer is maybe. Those screws are for adjusting intonation, you should set them for proper intonation, no other reason.
brianh
My '57 Reissue wraparound is at a very slight offset, almost unnoticable. Intonation is virtually dead on, and easily as close as some of the TOM bridges as well as the adjustable Leo Quan on the other one: Don't mess with it if your intonation is on, you will not be very happy with an untunable guitar, no matter what it looks like..
