I always get great advise here. Thanks On your typical LP' date=' the hot pickup wire goes to the outer lug of the volume control and the middle lug goes to the switch. dearlpitts Posted February 7, 2010 Share Posted February 7, 2010 i think its wierd that they're not independent to begin with,i have a silver tone lp and recently got the epi 56 lp an thought its was wired wrong cause they were/nt, cause all my copies i've had are and have been {indepent} are gibson lp's the same?
