Red 333 Posted February 8, 2010 Share Posted February 8, 2010 This article is about acoustic guitar building, but it relates to many of the threads we've had on here about why the value-priced guitar makers like Epiphone (also known as "budget brands") use multi-piece solid bodies with veneers, etc. It's about what Martin, Gibson, and others are doing in reaction to the dwindling supply of wood suitable for guitar building.
