andy59 Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 Hi Kuvash, Mine's not 4 sale after searching for a few months and being outbid umpteen times in auctions, I found an Epiphone Biscuit (wood body) in a guitar store. To quote my guitar store guy, "It ain't a National" but it's just my speed. I have an old Kay that I use for a bit of occasional slide playing but prefer the Epi. Low action makes it easy to play. kuvash Posted February 12, 2010 Author Share Posted February 12, 2010 Actually, the biscuit variety will be my next one, the one I have now is a spyder,wood body...it has more of a bluegrassy/banjo sound,I have messed with slide on several of my other guitars.....I actually like to play this better with out slide like my other acoustic guitars. I am looking for a guitar just left set up in open tuning for slide....I 've even messed with my SG that way quite a bit.Been dinkin' around with it for a few years off and on.I really like the sound of the one that I have for what I use it for.
