ordus Posted February 17, 2010 Share Posted February 17, 2010 I have a PR 650 ASB acoustic. It is sun burst with 'tortoise' binding serial number12338 made in Japan. Does any one know where I might find some info on it (date) and perhaps a value please? Perhaps a website that has some info? Thanks for any help I am new to the forum. Ship of fools Posted February 17, 2010 Share Posted February 17, 2010 The PR-650 was a 80' to mid 80's guitar, solid spruce top with a mahogany back/sides, it came witha rosewood fingerboard and bindings. These days with the market being as soft as it is one in excellent shape might get you about $250 if you are real lucky right now.They were considered a decent entry level guitar and some were pretty good little players if you spent a few dollars having it set up.Ship.........oh and welcome from one Canuck to another Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I cant believe the quality of the guitar for such a great price...mine was $200 from a local store. I will use it as a writing guitar. All the best to you and thanks again.
