Kong Posted February 19, 2010 Share Posted February 19, 2010 I saw an EPI Les Paul Custom in vintage burst with a flame top on craigslist. It was about 1hr & 20 minute drive from my house and the pictures weren't that great on c-list. The guy was asking $400 and I offered $300 pending condition, but when I got there I saw it was stamped 2nd on the back of the headstock and I balked. I'll be asking more questions and looking for better pics in the future. It also had a lot of fine scratches in the finish and the hardware looked horrible:-& . I usually ask for close up pics of everything before I go pick up whatever it is. Most people will comply and some just seem to not care if they sell their stuff or if they don't sell their stuff.
