smips65
I usually think of these being at the bridge end... like so.... http://cgi.ebay.com/Hipshot-Basic-String-B-Bender-Only-Chrome-Brand-New_W0QQitemZ120532623343QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item1c104ddfef
midiman56
Genuine B-Benders are installed through routing the back of the guitar so the mechanism runs from the bridge up to a lever that replaces the top strap nut. The effect is kind of like the sound of a pedal steel. The deal with the gadget in the original post is that it doesn't seem to require any routing. Seems like something that would mainly appeal to country guys ... Jim
jonnyg
Great to see Gene Parsons looking so good. Great drummer, great inventor and moustache of the 20th century (shared with Dave Crosby and Wilford Brimley I guess).

The effect is kind of like the sound of a pedal steel. I've seen B-Bender gadgets advertised before, but didn't quite understand how they worked. Thanks for posting Midi, it's a very cool invention, I'd like to get my hands on one of those modified teles....
