Stevie Nazarenie
it's a hngd to me... well a few days ago. i had one of these vintage vp6 mahogany strats. http://www.jakesguitars.com/vintage-vp6-1277-p.asp i actually got it for £131 all in. but it has slight imperfections. anyways the wood looks lovely. sapele i think. it has a nice woody smell to it too. i am a little puzzled though as the tone unplugged seems brighter than my other strats! also i would say less warm! it does have a universal route, new strings and bent steel saddles. but do any others here have this experiences of mahogany strats?
