1990 Epi Joe Pass, made in USA?

Recommended Posts

In was listed on Denver Craigslist for $600. The problem with these listings is that I want to believe they're real deal.

Thanks all for the input.

Thats understandable but you have done a good job and saved yourself future problems and disappointment. Now go find that "real" bargain JP and you will be well pleased I am sure...there are good bargains out there I got mine half list price second hand and she is a beauty.

Good luck and good hunting post when you have found your JP

Are we really debating this?

Just look at the body contours, see the cut away, can you say jagged lines? Don't even get me started on the headstock and "inlays" which I suspect are decals as well.

FAKE as all hell.

Yes, we are all in agreement.. there are just too many things weird about it that]

indicate it's a fake. Never mind the UO preceding the fake sn, but the fake artists

have the nerve to affix a "made in USA" decal. They need to do some research on

what "made in USA" means. BTW..JP was a hollow body player prefering the

sound of the ES-175. Getting him to endorse an Epiphone must have required

some considerable coin from Epiphone.
