mrstrat
I have the Dot Studio and it's a great guitar but the pickups are week. What is a good pickup for a powerful CLEAN sound?
TWANG
P90s! GFS humbuck size P90s. good price. great bright clean sound. still has warm lows. GFS also has some nice 12 pole humbucks that are vintage output.. 8K ohms.. and nice for their mids and highs. And Razor has some slightly more spendy but equally better pups in humbucks. Sjael
Gonna throw in with TWANG as well. If you want clean power, go with the GFS Mean 90s. Hard to beat for the price, and even for a considerably higher price. You could even go as far as a set of Bigmouths/Loudmouths. I have loudmouths in my strat and they sound fantastic and ballsy clean. Really more of a metal-inspired pickup though.
mrstrat
Hi Thanks for replies. I forgot to add. I like the Blues/little rock powerful CLEAN sound. My main Ax is a Fender A.S. HSS. But I like to grab a few beers and the Dot and sit on the back porch and play away my Blues.
