NeoConMan
Depends on where your musical tastes lie. If there's something your LP won't cover, what is it? Sabbath and the really heavy stuff? Get the SG, I recommend the SG 61. Between that and a LP, you got hard rock covered. Classic rock and some warmer stuff? Get the ES-335. It'll do 80% of the Rock a LP will do, and so much more. Which one will give you more versatility? The 335. I suppose you can do what I did, buy them ALL....
charlie brown
The thought has crossed my mind...but where would it end? ;) I have enough Les Pauls...I think. I'm actually trying to sell my BFG and am waiting for a potential buyer right now. So' date=' if it does sell, I'll be back down to 4. 4's a good number. (I know what you're thinking and no SB, I won't be buying a Traditional. )[/quote'] Tim, do you not like 335 style thin-lines? I had mentioned an ES-345, previously, not in jest, but as a really nice alternative to the Les Paul/SG sound...and, with the vari-tone, it has a lot of different tone variations. Check one out, if you haven't, already... CB
