taxman Posted April 18, 2010 Share Posted April 18, 2010 Over the winter I case up my guitars and only a few of them see much action. The Casino saw very little winter play. Well this weekend I took her out and gave her a great workout. Damn, I shouldn't have done that. I have now made up my mind to buy another Casino this year - a natural Inspired By Lennon model. My mind tells me it is nuts to have two of the same guitars but I think I will keep flats on one and rounds on the other. Two very different sounds and play with that variety. The funds went to 1/3 of a Gibby Firebird V I have just ordered... Sit down and have a good think another casino just to sport a a set of of flats........... That sounds like a bad case of TIGAS that is Totally Irrational Gear Acquisition Syndrome..... sometimes we get GAS because there are real gaps in our collections..... TIGAS is something different, duplication, repetition, been there done it.... I try to guard against duplication and aim for variety in my small collection these days.... I want another Casino simply because its a different color! I have the sunburst, now I crave that natural Lennon. I am justifying the purchase by telling myself I can do flats/rounds.
