surfpup
Very interesting question, Little Kenny - nice job. If it had to be only one guitar for me, and it was to be forever, it would not be a Les Paul. It would have to be an acoustic. Since the best one I have now is my Gibson CL-10 I'd choose that one. However, if I could upgrade quickly before the forever ban went into place, I might step up to a J-45. I know, I cheated a bit.

RichCI
My Strat. Please don't hurt me! I love my Les Paul but the Strat is more versatile and since we're limited to one guitar in this thread, I have to go with versatility.
Witmer
Only one guitar? My acoustic. Only one electric guitar? My Les Paul, no questions asked. Heck, I've gone six years already without even buying a second electric.

But I picked up an old Guild acoustic that would probably be my choice overall.

Porsche Monkey,... thoughts?? BTW, I really DON'T like the idea of only one.....
