brianh
Herb, did you mean EJ-200 this guitar here? When did you buy it? Can you post a close-up photo of the crack?
Ship of fools
Hi Herb sorry to hear about your crack in the guitar unfortunately it isn't something that you will have repaired under warranty, but there are many out there that can fix it for you so don't wait till it gets worse to have it cleated and then you'll be back to swinging it on stage again.Ship.....most shops should be able to fix it for you
zombywoof
First, make sure the crack is in the wood and not just in the finish. But if it is, as long as you have the crack properly closed and reinforced with cleats you will make out just fine. I have had two top cracks on my old J-200 repaired - been stable for alot of years and there was no change in sound that I could hear.
