matt1039
Happy New (to me) Bass Day. Well I traded my EB-3 for a Thunderbird. I spent some time yesterday cleaning it up and changing the strings. The only thing really wrong is the small chip in the finish. Other than that it is great. I love the way it sounds, like a burp. Here it is, then a picture of the whole gang. Old_Ampeg_Guy
HNBD, Matt! Regarding the chip, I don't know if you have a means to heat burn-in repair sticks like these at Stewart-MacDonald, but they might work for you. I've never used one so I offer it FWIW. The full-blown Behlen chip touch-up kit on the Stew-Mac site (click "Related Items" a bit lower on the repair sticks page, then "Behlen Lacquer Repair Kit") is a bit much for one chip, most likely. It's one nice looking bass. You did well! Old Ampeg Guy
