twiggy
Hey guys, tried to make my own search which retured no results therefore seeking for help out there (I know one of you, epiphone libraries, will know the answer) : At first it looked like hummingbird, but the scratchplate is much bigger and the ornament is completely different. As well as that the trussrod cover does not give any clues to me... cheers, Simon
dhanners623
An Epiphone Frontier? Here are a couple of examples from one of my local shops: http://www.williesguitars.com/index.cfm/gibson_acoustics/7/inventory/17 http://www.williesguitars.com/index.cfm/gibson_acoustics/7/inventory/18 I've seen them with all kinds of different pickguards. Always thought it was a guitar Epiphone should bring back. Then again, I don't run the company....

There is another ornate plated flat top, the "Excellente" it has a picture of an eagle on it.
meanstreak1281734111
yep, it's a Frontier. Absolutely beautiful guitar, wish I could own one! He went through a spell around the time of Standing on the Shoulder of Giants where he played it all the time, like here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6S32q8ibC_g (same Jools Holland vid your pics are from)
