tulee12! 0
I bought an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Pro at a G C a few weeks ago. It was not planned. I just saw this beautiful desert burst guitar, pulled it down and liked the action. It is my favorite out of 4 Gibson Les Pauls and this one! I will never buy another guitar from G C though... my first and last. I paid, the kid handed me the guitar over the counter and said " have a nice day". I was shocked. No papers, no box, no warranty card, no gig bag... nothing. I actually responded with "you gotta be shi__ING me"!!! No more G C for me. But I love the guitar... my favorite. Luke17 0
Today I got my second Epiphone..sheraton Union Jack....HSC, truss rod wrench, Epiphone decal....lock for the case, a silly Certificate of Authenticity in a simulated pleather case...and an Epihone Poster. The guitar is a beauty, plays like a dream..the Grovers are so easy to tune...the mini buckers are sublime. Well worth the wait .
4Hayden 100
I did. It came in two peices. And it looks like it was cut that way at the factory. Very strange. It happens
MattN3NTJ 0
I don't think I got a manual with my Epiphone Les Paul Standard when I bought it new in 2010. Are the manuals (maintenance, care, warranty, etc.) available on the Gibson/Epiphone website?

crust 175
those cables were junk. good riddance. Well now, how about supplying the extra's "package" with a cable that isn't "junk" ? Is that really too much to ask/expect ? Really ?

LPS1976 2
because they would probably make it as cheap as the cable.
crust 175
I believe some of the "player" and "performance" packs come with an associated Epiphone amplifier, along with several other items (strap, tuner...)

Kenan 0
I did get a ration of crap from the GC employee about not buying a Gibson. He definitely had problems with Epiphones in general calling them cheap knockoffs. Well, if it wasn't for that "cheap knockoff" I could probably only imagine what is like to play a Les Paul..as I couldn't afford..or even if I could, wouldn't be overly enthusiastic about buying 2-3x expensive guitar that, in general, doesn't sound THAT better, to justify the price tag..In my opinion. crust 175
What do you obtain when you procure an Epiphone guitar ? Awesome vibes...and that is free

For $400.00 for a Epiphone black Standard, I got a bill of sale! Nothing else and I asked! My Gibson Standard Gold Top came with a beautiful case, Manuel, truss rod, warranty, instructions, and a free set of Earnie Ball strings, plus the bill of sale! Lol. Oh, I did get a sticker on the pick guard of the Epiphone that said Lifetime warranty. I'll have to keep the sticker on it, it's the only proof I have that says it. Nothing to send in. merciful-evans 1,056
There have been a lot of questions recently from our customers asking “what comes with a new Epiphone guitar?” Here’s a list of what should be included when you purchase a new Epiphone instrument. If you do not receive these items, please ask your authorized Epiphone retailer about them. 1. User’s Manual - This covers all the basic information about the care and use of our guitars as well as warranty details. 2. Epiphone Bumper Sticker 3. Epiphone 2-Sided Poster 4. eSonic/eSonic-2 User’s Manual – This goes into details regarding the features, benefits and use of our preamp system that is used in most of our acoustic/electric guitars. This comes with only acoustic/electric guitars. 5. Truss Rod Adjustment Wrench – Remember… if you don’t know how to adjust your truss rod, don’t attempt it. You could do permanent damage to your instrument. If you think an adjustment is needed, take it to an authorized service center. Additionally, some of our guitars are priced including hard case or gigbag. Here’s a quick list of our current price list models that include cases. • Inspired by John Lennon Casino (‘1965” and “Revolution”): Hard Case • SG-Express : Gigbag • Emily the Strange G-310: Gigbag (and strap) • Zakk Wylde ZV Custom: Hard Case • LP-Express: Gigbag • Les Paul “Tribute”: Hard Case • All “Packs”: Gigbag *Note: All hard cases include a locking latch with key. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us at: • U.S.A.: 1-800-444-2766 or service@gibson.com • Europe: 00+800-444-2766-1 or service.europe@gibson.com Thanks for your business!! merciful-evans 1,056
I bought one 2 days ago and I didn't get any of that stuff. I have to retract this and appologise to Epi. I was packing cardboard (including the guitar supply box) into my recycling bin today and these items tumbled out of the folded interior sections: 1. User’s Manual - 2. Epiphone Bumper Sticker 3. Epiphone 2-Sided Poster 4. eSonic/eSonic-2 User’s Manual – 5. Truss Rod Adjustment Wrench – I like the poster best. I may hang it in my studio. The 'wrench' is an Allen key that will go into my tool drawer (I have many of these). The sticker? Don't know! yet...
