jinx2
I have a fancy Gibson j45. It's really nice, in fact too nice. I want to take it out and play in the park and subway, but I can't afford to have it all beat to **** out there. So, I figured I'd pick up an inexpensive Epiphone to serve as my battle ax. But, when I checked into them I found they all have 25.5 in scale fretboards. My Gibson is 24.75. Why doesn't epiphone follow gibson and match the scale length? Thawk Dean
I believe they DO..............I just purchased an Epi EL-00. It's a small body, short scale length. I LOVE playing it. It is soooooo different from my Epi PR350. Dean

TommyK
Keep checking out your local dealers' stock. I've heard Epi and Gibson scale lengths on specific models have and do change without much notice. I've heard of guys finding Hummingbirds of both scale lengths in the same store at the same time. Probably a new one and new-old-stock of an earlier length. Happy Hunting! :-
