I normally play Gibson SG (not "61) and Jackson DKMG and I like the neck on the Synapse a lot. To me it's not as big feeling as a Les Paul. Measure It , and I think you'll find it is bigger, a lot bigger in fact it is fatter than the uncut full thickness blank that Fender cut strat and Tele necks out of.
