87 sherwood
Hello everyone I will be a new synapse owner very soon. I just ordered an ss-2f custom in red. Whats up with the steinberger strings being 'calibrated" and "standard". I want a box of double ball 9-46 but I don't want to get a set that are to long. I hear that the single ball high strings don't stay in the head piece very well so I thought double ball would be best but I have no idea which ones will work. Do the tuners have a lot of range? I have a set of LSR gearless tuners on my Fender that are 40:1 and while they hold tuning very well they do not have a lot of range. I have to pull the string very tight before I lock it. Thanks. Eagle
You only need calibrated strings for the Trans trem.
