Andrew McCormack
Has any one heard of the daddario high e string being too short ? this has happened to me .
r2bflash
If you are using strings that are calibrated for the Trans Trem the high E string will be too short.

r2bflash
Has any one heard of the daddario high e string being too short ?this has happened to me . This is a fact. The high E string is shorter in the sets of calibrated strings. If you choose to ignore this fact you may have the same problem that you started this post about. Yes, some people can get them on their R-Trems, Hard-Tails, S-Trems, etc. but you run the risk of the high E string being too short if you do use them on any thing other that the Trans-Trem. If you would look at the Daddario strings you have now that the high E is too short, I would bet they are calibrated for the Trans-Trem.
