PostPopPunk
I happened across a dealer who pitches that the original 'bergers are the best thing ever, Spirits are clones at best, stink, etc... I dunno, I like mine. I always wanted a woodgrain M model, but the real ones were gone by the time I had the money to afford one... So when MusicYo first popped up, I bought a strat-bodied Spirit, happy happy. Bought a mess of strings, but now they're gone and so is MusicYo... so. I see this online dealer says new Steinberger strings don't work on the Spirits. Do they? If I go to the listed online dealers (AMS, Musician's Friend, etc) they stock Steinberger strings, but don't say anything about them fitting or not fitting Spirits. What's the truth? r2bflash
Just don't buy the calibrated double ball strings that are for the Trans-Trem and you will be fine. They will work but the high E string is a little short to put on an R-Trem equipped guitar.
