COHartman Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Maybe it's because I have unusually heavy strings on my Spirit (0.011-0.049), or maybe not. The tuning knobs are hard to turn. It's especially the middle two (D and G). It's only when the strings are near pitch, not when I'm first putting the string on. I tried to find a way to lubricate the tuners (using graphite), but couldn't make a difference. Any suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
