Dyusha
Hi. I've just got Epiphone model Sheraton-II NA with serial number on the sticker inside the body 0907212299. No other identifications/numbers anywhere. Can't get what is it...
Dyusha
Thanks for prompt answer. Not sure I know is it legit. I bought it second hand from second hands :) Ebay :) Really glad it is Korea. Did not expect. Bought it just not to forget how to play. But stuff is great! PS. I wonder what pickups do I have?

RicAlv
Hello everyone! I just got an Epiphone Les Paul on a charity auction, it was advertised as a "Gibson Epiphone Les Paul Limited Edition", this guitar is pretty cool and sounds great too, but I am unable to find the serial format I got on the guitar anywhere. I am pretty new on this and I fear this is not a true Epiphone guitar. Could anybody here help me with this? The serial number of the guitar is 17031126. (I have attached some pictures :) ) Thanks a lot in advance! Ric

The Limited Edition could refer to the factory installed Bigsby.
RicAlv
This ^^ Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate your help! Now I just need to discover which model is this "Limited Edition" Les Paul... Would it be a Standard?

Since it was sold as a USED item, the production numbers were scratched out because there's no factory warranty. A new serial number was issued on a sticker and placed over the original number. bkrejcik
So I have a Limited Edition LP Standard, sparkletop with Bigsby, #U7020492 Unsung, but 1970? Maybe 1997, February, #492? And a Dot, #S98124415, which I guess would be Samick, 1998, December, #4415? They made a lot by the end of the year, I suppose.
bkrejcik
Thanks, Pete, my guesses were ok. What about my Genesis bass, though? The thing is kind of a mystery, with that #0400063.

Shop is going out of business tonight and all I got was the guitar, no box, warranty card, etc. I have managed to register it on Gibson.com, but I would really like to know more about when it was made. Serial # 8701 4136. Any answers to an eight digit number yet? Thanks in advance for any help. Ric

Orange Epiphone sticker inside the f hole just says Emporer.
g8tr
Thanks Pete, I appreciate the help. Appears to be slightly used, pick guard has a tiny amount of wear and the pick ups have a bit of the gold off. Was $400 a fair price for this? The store threw in a soft case and a couple pair of strings.

3rdeyeopen
I'm thinking about buying this guitar guys. Just wanting to know if it is legit and not a fake. Barcham
I'm thinking about buying this guitar guys. Just wanting to know if it is legit and not a fake. Ebay lists the id as 250976653462 http://cgi.ebay.com....:X:eRTM:AU:1123 Can anyone help? Cheers Mike My instincts say fake. To be certain, we need to see a pic of the back of the headstock with the serial number and a side shot of the headstock where the binding meets the neck binding. If you cannot get better pictures, at least request the serial number. If it contains either EE at the beginning or if it is a numerical s/n and the factory code is 15 which indicates Qinigdao, it is a fake. $549 AU for that guitar used would be a great price from what I can gather. For a new guitar including case, it is one of those things that seems way too good to be true.

DennyBoy
Hello! I need help identifying this Casino. I only know that it's about 30 years old. Can someone tell at least where was it made? Serial is 06336. And there is a sign on the sticker "Epiphone a division of Gibson, Kalamazoo, Michigan", so maybe it's from USA.
