Tinkerer05
Hi, would you know what model this bass is and any info from the serial number - 9018615? There's nothing on the back of the headstock. It looks like a number of other Epiphone basses in their catalogs but I've never been able to find this exact one. Many thanks for any assistance. jonnyg
Epiphone did a Precision type bass which was the Accu bass but I think that had the batwing headstock. Maybe yours is the Rock bass. Whatever it is Jerry Mac will be here later and he's bound to know.

RobinTheHood
Its an Accu Bass. The Accu Bass has a split pickup (accu = precision) and the Rock Bass had two Jazz pickups (rock = jazz?). The headstocks are more of a matter of the year it was made, not the actual model.
Tinkerer05
Thanks guys. I don't know anything about basses but this seems to be a low end p type from everything I can find on the Accu Bass. All the best.
RobinTheHood
Thanks guys. I don't know anything about basses but this seems to be a low end p type from everything I can find on the Accu Bass. All the best. I dont think that Epiphone made any high quality basses with the Accu & Rock. I'm pretty sure they were all "Squier" quality. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I dont think you'll find any range of low to high-end with those models.
