I think some of this LOGO stuff is not that accurate...

here is the logo of my new Epi Lucille...

The RED is because the afternoon sun shines through the

red drapes here... kinda nice actually....

...so check out the Scripting on this Lucille logo

for kicks...

On initial viewing, it looks like a REAL SG. Not a lot

has been dedicated to spotting SGs, just the headstock pics,

and your headstock has the "proper" spacing between the center

of the tuner posts and top rings and the edge of the headstock.

Looks like my LP Studio headstock in that regard.

Most of the fake SGs are spotted because of the POOR job of

reproducing the BEVEL around the edge of the guitar, yours looks

even and balanced.

And your Knob grouping looks symmetrical, rather than having one of 'em off

to the side a bit.

Just my thouhgts....

Who would fake a Epiphone SG? at there low price point whats the point when your faking a $300.00 to $400.00 guitar.I'd be more curious about getting a fake Gibby in the thousands of dollars range.Turn over and check what your pickups say usually dont they say Epiphone on the back.Maybe Im all wrong but just my thoughts.

A lot of people who have no glue clue buy the fakes every day (on the Bay...) [laugh]

So close, Peter...so close...[lol]

Sorry. I had to do a doubletake on that one. Glue = Leim

But yeah, you can find fake Epis all day long. The most common fake Epis are LPs like the BlackBeauty or anythin Zakk. But there are plenty of fake SGs out there as well.
