DrBoogie
I am looking for the answer to a question about Warren's Gibson on this YouTube Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5puAN1PGQw Can anyone verify what looks very much like a metal "Dobro" type bridge on his J-200/12? The tone would suggest this is how he is getting that sound, but I can't tell if it's just a reflection of the lights or not. I have never seen an acoustic set up this way, but my guess is that is exactly how he got that real high end "jangle" tone.

I have never seen an acoustic set up this way, but my guess is that is exactly how he got that real high end "jangle" tone. It's a normal wooden bridge with pearl inlays. I actually don't think it sounds very good in that video due to the way it is amplified. I love Warren Zevon and that song though.
