Seems like you got a steal then. I have one like it, bought it brand new, same color, but with the BB Pros. I use it as a "workhorse" like my Ebony studio. They are exactly that. I love their tone and I'm not too worried about them getting a ding... Good one man!
Dub-T-123
That's awesome. $400 is a good deal and considering you bought it from GC that's an incredible deal. GC is known for having way overpriced used guitars. Oh yeah and alnico 2 is where it's at.

fortcon
Burstbuckers have a really flexible tone, in my experience. My Les Paul has the Burstbucker Pros and they can sound plenty bluesy.

Riffster
I personally think the BB Pros and their Alnico 5 magnets compliment the all mahogany body on these LPs.

vincentw
I bought one of these with P-90s last year. A small bunch of them were sold to dealers and they were snatched up pretty quickly. I love it.
Guest rogerb
I am a fan of the faded finish. The wood seems to resonate better which translates into tone and sustain. all that and a great price to boot!
