I spoze you all assume thaz my fave celeb

player in my avatar .... and so it is .... me.

And .... I'm playing my sig model ax. Some

of my fans [and some of my detractors] call

me the G-Man, and the ax in the pic is my

Peavey G-Bass FL4, one of a kind, AFAIK.

This thread is dangerously similar to that "Cute Gibson Boys" from Mrs Spamwoman that was here a few months ago. I have a small pic from AC/DC in my profile that I dragged down from Twitter using some of the forum tools.

My money still says that was Laaz attempting to gather ammo for his Photoshop spree. [tongue]

^ Yes Bill....i was thinking a similar thought. Not so much that Laaz was behind it, but that he could use this thread for ammo! :) hehehehe

That man can put your face on the most incriminating of pics. He could extort some cash if he wanted to. [laugh]

You really dont know yet? [lol]

OK. I'll bite, and address this like

it's a real question.

It's an actual G-Bass. That was one

of Peavey's model names. In its time

with me, it lost its frets and gained a

BadAss bridge. Peavey never made

a production FL G-Bass. Those two

mods are not rare in the bass world

in general ..... so I would not bet the

local arm of the galaxy that no other

exists. Odds are it IS one of a kind.

As with so many signature models,

it also has a cosmetic "upgrade" ...

bigazzed olde skool bakelite knobs.

Plus a seekrit weapon: Six ounces

of mass added to the headstock. A

special "weightless" mass is used,

to avoid causing neck dive, chrome

plated pure unobtanium alloy.

I spoze I'd bet the whole galaxy that

it's one of less than ten examples ...

with no "AFAIK" qualifier required. I

guess I'm just uncomfortable taking

too great a risk with someone else's

galaxy. I'm not from around here, as

you may have noticed ....
