craigh
I'm thinking of getting a Bigsby for one of my LP's. Pros & cons? Craig
BigKahune
I'm a trem guy, so I say go for it. Use a vibramate and a Bigsby B7 (original, not third party) - no drilling or routing. http://www.vibramate.com/ If you don't like it, remove it and sell it - reinstall original hardware, no harm done. Some might dis the saddle break angle with a vibramate, I think it's negligable.
craigh
Thank you for that info. With this, if I do go for the Bigsby, I can switch with all my LP's. Craig
Guitardetail
Bigsby rocks but you may also want to check out the "Bowen Handle". It won't mess up the top of your guitar. It replaces the Stop Bar Tail. So you can still adjust the downward pressure. The Bigsby will change the feel. The Bowen is just a better design for the LP. A bridge with roller saddles would also be a good addition. Gibson should do a model with a Bowen Handle! http://www.freedomguitar.com/products_bowen_handle.php

abbeyrod
Bigsby B7 is the most beautiful accessorie you can add to a guitar. I have one on my SG, and soon add one on my V. works great and soft, and looks so good
