does this look like a real custom les paul to you?

just bought this off ebay for 2800. the seller had excellent feedbacks. heres what came with it. i was going to email gibson instead but they had a size limit on pictures. any help would be appreciated.

 

it also came with a custom care kit not pictured.

geez that was quick responses........thanks :-s yah i checked the wiring its all clean like a gibson should be. the only thing i havent checked is the captivity inside the pickups and the truss rod but most likely their all legit.

the diamond looks right, the headstock, SN, and bridge looks good..........

the guy has good feedback.....................

 

 

you got yourself a hellofa good looking, and authentic gibson

 

 

how does she play/sound?

Considering you have the certificate with the matching serial # on it, there's not much doubt it's authentic, the Chinese don't include certificates of fake-isity with their fakes. Why did you buy it first and then question it's authenticity? :-s

well the seller i bought from (ebay) had excellent feedbacks and sold numerous gibsons/fenders on there :D plus i i saved at least 500 bucks :D

Interesting you got a COA but apparently not a warranty card? How are these ebay sellers getting new guitars to sell at good prices if they're not authorized dealers? Is it like jewelry stores who let watches go out the back door without the warranty, and other people sell them at a discount, in order for the dealer to be able to afford the number of pieces that the manufacturer requires them to buy?

Looks very legit... And from what I've seen, the china made ones or "fakes" have rather poor workmanship especially on the headstock.... And the truss rod are usually screwed up!
