Archer993 Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I'm getting ready to mod a 2001 LP Custom and want to put an Angus Young PU in the bridge position. I'll be replacing the pots and caps with a Jimmy Page style harness - all push pulls. Hardware on the guitar is gold. So the questions are: 1) I believe the current bridge position has f-spaced pole spacing - how far off is the Angus version? 2) Can I easily unsolder the chrome cover and what does an Angus look like uncovered (ugly or just the usual bobbins)?
