kissero79
Hello guys, First post here... I'm trying to find a replacement Hardshell Case for my Gibson Thunderbird bass. From what I researched I can contact Gibson and then order the part. Do you know if this is correct, and how much I can expect to pay for this? Some people say $100, others $300... Thanks! MrNylon
Hi; I hope you have have better luck with Gibson then I did with Fender for accessory items. I went through a local Sam Ash for stuff. Fender was not good at all, for their own products they listed. Good to see you here.
Gaolee
You might try Best Buy. It is a bit odd to find musical instruments there, but they sell Epiphone, and Epiphone makes Thunderbirds and cases for them.
MrNylon
That's true. I've seen more Gibson brand stuff there.
rd_artist
based n my personal experience, you will need to call Gibson and get the product number and then go to your local authorized Gibson dealer and have them order the part, Gibson will not sell directly to you and when the case comes in, take your bass with you to make sure they got the right case.
