kissero79
Hello guys, First post here... I'm trying to find a replacement Hardshell Case for my Gibson Thunderbird bass. From what I researched I can contact Gibson and then order the part. Do you know if this is correct, and how much I can expect to pay for this? Some people say $100, others $300... Thanks! BigKahune
Welcome Welp, if you check the Gibson website cases are priced at $280 - http://store.gibson.com/Products/Gear/Cases.aspx TKL, who makes cases for Gibson, has the T'bird bass case for $245 - http://www.tkl.com/?siteid=search&qsearch=T-Bird&sh=Stringed%20-%20Bass%20-%20ThunderBird . . . with picture - http://www.tkl.com/site_item_details.php?pn=TKL%207867&descx=TKL+Premier+T-Bird+Style+Guitar+Case You might be able to find a cheaper case - maybe someone else will chime in. kissero79
Thanks. My hope is to be able to find the exact same case that came with my bass. The original brown one, with the plush cut-out. I have an email into gibson, we'll see what they say. Thanks a lot for your help, that is definitely a good alternative.
