Silverbursted Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Not even a 1/2 second to think about that one.
Tim Plains Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Traditional...but, I'll probably never buy another Gibson USA LP. Custom Shop all the way!
hi13ts Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 That's pretty harsh! Gibson spent a full half hour to modify the Standard, and no one wants it?! I kind of like it, so I'll go with the Standard.
UnGauGeD Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Traditional all the way.... But the 08' Les Pauls seem rather impressive!
littlekenny Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 I'm not sure, I havent played either one enough.
wilerty Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 I prefer the lighter weight and the smaller neck ... Standard. I remember in 1988 I walked into a Fender dealer and they had this new model called the Strat Plus. Didn't look like a normal Strat. It had locking tuners, noiseless pups, wilkinson nut, and the truss rod adjusted from the "other" end. Loved the guitar and it was my #1 for 18 years. There is nothing wrong with change ...
