BKKJohn Posted August 7, 2019 Share Posted August 7, 2019 I ALMOST bought a used 498T / 496R set a guy removed from a 1999 LP Standard, to upgrade an ES335 custom-made guitar.. Then I discovered the pickups have only 1-conductor. Apparently Gibson changed the design to 4-conductor but didn't change the model number.
