TommyK
Scale lengths of Gibson and Gibson stable guitars have been known to change without much notice. Why? Who knows? The company product pages will only list current production. It is entirely possible that a guitar shop could have two different scale lengths of the same model, owing to one being NOS and one just off the truck. And just as likely no one at the store is aware of it. The only way to know the difference is to measure.
Thawk Dean
I have an Epi EL-00. In the Epi web pages the scale length is listed at 24.75. I love playing it. It is soooo dofferent than my PR. Dean
bigneil
I think i'm going to make it my mission to keep looking and keep trying them out in guitar stores, i have also been considering the hollow body electrics, and started a thread in the electric forum asking which ones sound good unamplified.
