LP Custom and Blackheart

Been playing my 82 Custom tonight thru my Blackheart Little Giant head and 1-12 cab tonight. All I can say is WOW!! Man the tone you get out of this amp is incredible, and I've had many tube amps. I've had this amp for three months now and I love it. Solid, well built, all tube, class A, tone monster. All my guitars sound great, LPs, Strat, SG, etc., it handles them all flawlessly. In addition to superb tone, pick response is unbelievable. Anyone else playing their LP thru a Blackheart?

I really want to try a Blackheart. I've asked at a few of the local stores up here but no one seems to have heard of them. I e-mailed crate who owns them and they suggested I try Long & McQuade. No luck so far, I hope these are coming to the Great White North at some point. I have been looking at a Peavey Windsor Studio and I may just pull the trigger on that in the near future instead if I don't have more luck.

Got any sound clips of your BH scozz? I'm still thinking about snaggin one of those badboys.

Btw, good to see an old familiar name on here again.

Thanks rjay, good to see your name again too.

Sorry, but I don't have any clips of it yet, I've just been playing! This amp has a great Classic Rock tone. Creamy, natural, saturation, and as I said before, pick response is incredible. From soft and sweet to rocking crunch using only your pick. IMHO, this amp makes a LP sound the way it should. Check out some You Tube vids for a bunch of clips. Hard to tell with a computer though, you need to play it. If you can find it anywhere.

Hope all is well rjay.

I plan on getting the Handsome Devil in a month or two. would you recommend it?

Based on my Blackheart Little Giant, and the clips I heard on You Tube, yes I would certainly recomend it.

I used a 2-12 with my Little Giant and it sounded fat. I am now using that cab with my Marshall 18w and debating whether to keep the Little Giant - that takes nothing away from the BH - it's a great little head, but naturally the Marshall kills it.

May as well keep 'em both!
