Bluemoon Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Let's end the debate today. The conclusion is: Some people like them, some don't.
Thundergod Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Man... when I read the title I was totally plek't. When I realized it was a poll to know if this has been over discussed and should never be posted again... well that was a nice surprise. Please never again!
elessar820 Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Chambered, not chambered the Les Paul is a great guitar. No one is right or wrong... right?
Tim Plains Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Chambered' date=' not chambered the Les Paul is a great guitar. No one is right or wrong... right?[/quote']Wrong...chambering blows!! Anybody that owns a chambered Les Paul and thinks it's a great guitar is sadly mistaken. If you own one, you're a sucker! I'm just trying to start a fire.
AXE® Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I can not vote in this poll . Without having enough time playing the chambered, I feel I don't deserve the right to voice a true opinion . So ... They blow !!!
Tom99SS Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 At times I wish the internet was not around because of things like this. Chambered / Non-Chambered. This has been beat to death. As long as it sounds good it is good. I voted YES
tonebias Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Wrong...chambering blows!!Anybody that owns a chambered Les Paul and thinks it's a great guitar is sadly mistaken. If you own one' date=' you're a sucker! [/quote'] I have both and the chambered aint that bad... But I don't take Tim's quote as a put down? You see, Tim can't tell, he's lost all feeling in his right hand, he didn't even realize he lost his watch up a horses ***. Or were you looking for a "Bone Nut"?
Tim Plains Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I found the bone and the nut! As for chambering, I voted no. This topic will be discussed time and time again. Hopefully, I'll learn a few things each time it does...such as if the wood they use would actually have been discarded by Gibson because it's too heavy/dense, or if it's really just to expand the Les Paul market to people who want a lighter guitar. It would be nice if Gibson actually published something that explained their reasoning for introducing chambered models. That'll never happen, I know...but it would be nice.
daveinspain Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 get used to talking about it because as soon as we agree to no talk about it any more a newbe will come around and ask.... It's a valid question that people will ask about...
Gibson CS Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 This wouldn't be an issue and we were like every other forum and HAD SOME DAMN STICKYS!!!
