trapdoorspider
An electric sander can be a dangerous thing in the hands of somebody who wants to "relic" a perfectly good, and practically new, guitar. Look at this poor Les Paul Studio. This fine guitar, with its nicely yellowed finish, would have fetched close to $1,000 on eBay before the owner decided to "improve" it. And he's actually convinced that "it looks great." Breaks my heart. pippy
The poor, misguided idiot has clearly no idea of how a LP actually 'wears-and-tears' if he thinks that is how it should look. Sad. No; not sad. Pathetic (in the true sense of the word). P.

Surveyor
Would be fitting to take the sander to this *** and see if his distressed look is AWESOME. Actually, if this fool can live with what he did to this guitar, and the one who purchased it is happy; let 'em have at it. P.T.Barnham was correct.
