MR GIBS
I felt in love with that song about a week ago. This is brilliant. I listened to the studio version on the site of Amy Speace and I prefere this recording in MusicFog. Everything is perfect to me here... I want to sing this song, but I need the lyrics written (there are some words and expressions that I can not understand well looking at her singing and mooving her lips) and I still can't find those lyrics written... Krassi, here is what I typed up from the video: GHOST The first of March faltered like an ache And the hours blurred together in the gray She didn’t change the sheet to make the bed Just put her cheek where he once lay She curled up in the hollow where his skin Left a faint trace of mint and leaf Where the cotton held him captive And where she watched him sleep Chorus: Some people move through our lives Then they’re gone like the morning rain Some stand with the stillness of a soldier At their post and never change Some dance along the waterline Like waves against the coast And some forever haunt you Like a ghost February stole more than the snow Bringing early spring to Baltimore She was surprised to see him after all those years Of leaving out the alley door Well this time would be different He swore it with a rapture of a baptized man His words undressed her loneliness With gospels built on sand Chorus Oh my love….. stay Oh my love, I can’t wait Chorus, repeat last line If this text doesn't work for you I can message you with the file. Gilliangirl
GG, are you going to learn this song??? I'm seriously thinking of it. I'm just learning Dust In The Wind atm (yeah I know, I should already know that one). I've never been one to learn songs that most acoustic players know (like DITW, Blackbird, etc) I'm learning the picking pattern for DITW so that I can use it on The L&N Don't Stop Here Anymore. Anyway, I digress. Yes, I think this song is one I'd like to know!

Krassi, like you, some people are simply blessed with a beautiful singing voice. This person certainly has been. The guitar playing is very nice too. fretplay
Thanks OWF, the song held me too. I'm not sure whether it was the song or the wonderful voice, I guess both make the majic of music work.
